Uplifting Voices at the Equity Symposium

Our Co-founders, Rida and Himesh, were honored to be invited as speakers at the Fairfax County Public Schools (FCPS) 2023 Equity Symposium. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Rob Kerr and Raven Compton for extending this invitation to us, and we also want to express our thanks to the FCPS Equity Team for their efforts in organizing such an amazing event.

The symposium provided a unique platform to address important issues of equity within Fairfax County, and our focus was on ensuring equitable access to technology for all students. In particular, we highlighted the need to improve access to technology in Title 1 schools across the county. We firmly believe that access to technology is a crucial step in bridging the educational divide and providing equal opportunities for all students, regardless of their socioeconomic backgrounds.

Our presentation centered around the significance of STEM education in today's world and its potential to empower students with skills that are vital for their future success. We showcased how our ongoing efforts to provide STEM education have yielded positive outcomes, and we encouraged educators and policymakers to adopt similar approaches county-wide.

By sharing our experiences and success stories, we hoped to inspire others to join us in our mission to make meaningful learning accessible to every student in Fairfax County.

It is only through collaborative efforts and a shared commitment to equity that we can create a brighter and more promising future for our students.

Once again, we express our gratitude to all the individuals and organizations involved in making the FCPS 2023 Equity Symposium a resounding success. We look forward to further collaborations and partnerships in the pursuit of educational equity for all. Together, we can build a stronger, more inclusive educational landscape for the students of Fairfax County.
